Methamphetamine has a high potential for abuse. The drug has a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States or a currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions. Abuse of the drug may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence. "

Are you asking about legal medicine or street drugs? There is a big difference between the two. Methamphetamines for legal uses are one thing, the dispensing and use is highly restricted and monitored by the DEA, and one has to have a prescription to possess them or you will find yourself facing felony charges if found on you person or in your car.
The street drug 'meth' is even worse. Stay away from that drug at all costs and immediately report anyone who might try to sell it to you or ask you to try it. Meth kills.
