I'm sorry that I don't know the chemical name to it, all that I do know is that
the new Oxycontin OP are replacing the original Oxycontin OC. They contain the same active ingredient Oxycodone, in a time released formulation. The only difference is that they have been specially formulated to help prevent abuse.
Even if someone tries to crush or chew them, they retain their time released properties.
