my husband had a large 6 inch by 4 inch open wound from a surgery that had to be opened up because he had MRSA and then the wound had to have wet to wet dressing of minnesota solution applied 3 times a day and kept wet.
What is in Minnesota Solution and why is it used for open wounds?

Hi ... I did some research and nothing by that name came up, check the name again, now it mut have a leaftlet, or call your Doctor and ask him /her or give your pharmacist a call maybe they can help you. But as i said I did research on it and nothing even similar to it came up sorry.
I have m.r.s.a and I had to have my wounds changed 3 times a day and the name of it was called dankin's solution mine was 1/8 th strength and it has Bleach in it!! It did help I have graduated now to wound vacuum negative pressure and it is really helping. .I am not sure if this is what they used on your husband..
