Over the counter medication like Monistat work, but get the 3 day or 7 day version. Do not waste your money on the 1 day ones (they are expensive and usually not effective). Acidophilus (vitamin) pills also help ease symptoms, but might not be enough to end if for good. If you can go to a doctor and get a prescription, diflucan is a pill that you take once and you will feel better within a day or so.
