I suffer from depression, and thought from the literature that excessive sweating might help. Just what drugs generate a fever without too many unwanted side effects? I was wondering about sulfa pills, for instance.
You do not want to induce a fever, I am manic depressive(OCD, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, paranoia... etc) I am 41, and you are talking about inducing a fever to help with your condition?

Now supplements like vitamin B12 ( aslo B1,2 &3) helps with depression, omega 3 ( salmon oil) flaxseed oil, , folic acid, and inositol , I take them.,

Dark green vegetables such as spinach and peas are high in folate. It is a substance that has a key role in the production of serotonin. Eat fresh vegetables, because canned versions usually have lower nutritional value. Legumes are also rich in folate.
Chickpeas are rich in iron, vitamin E and fiber. To prepare a simple snack, mix a can of drained and rinsed chickpeas with some minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, and olive or canola oil in your blender. You can add salt, pepper or other spices that you prefer.
Exercise (if you are able)... running will, riding a bike, etc... cause you to sweat in a healthy way... endorphines(they are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus during exercise) and dopamines are released and also help with depression.
You want to win, you do not induce a fever with side effects, you take the bull by the horns, and start doing things to really help yourself, I care this is why I gave you the best I could... now it is up to you, but a fever?
