"Nitrofurantoin belongs to the class of medications called antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of urinary tract infections or bladder infections caused by certain types of bacteria."
"Each opaque yellow cap and opaque white body hard gelatin capsule, imprinted with N over 0197 on one end and 50 on the other in black ink, contains nitrofurantoin 50 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, D&C Yellow No. 10, dibasic calcium phosphate, FD&C Yellow No. 6, gelatin, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc and titanium dioxide. Gluten- and tartrazine-free."
