My son is 16 yrs. old. He has had every medical test imaginable. He has nausea (sometimes vomiting) every morning. He cannot eat or drink until around noon. He has been to his regular doctor, a (stomach doctor- he is out of ideas), and has tried ginger root and align with no results.
Has he seen a psycologist? It may be hormonal or stress at school, possibly bullying issues or even girl issues and he is scared. If you have an open relationship with him you may want to ask about these things just in case that is what it is if you haven't already. A good drug I find that works well with nausea and vomiting is Levsin/SL you dissolve it under your tongue it doesn't taste horrible and works great. It also goes under the name of Hyomax/SL or Hyoscymine (spelling?). I hope this helps some and good luck that is a hard age to be sick all the time, marjorie zych
sounds like stress/ anxiety, had the same problem when things get to much found that quitelife herbal calms me down and has helped wonders with vomitting, take 2 in the morning after any amount of food and two in the afternon after food, as well as three at bedtime takes about 4 days before you notice the effect hope this helps it has me
Generally speaking, I agree with the other posts. I think it is highly possible that this could be an anxiety/psychological issue. Hopefully, you &/or your son are not frightened or embarrassed by the thought, but perhaps schedule a couple visits (nothing must be ongoing or permanent) with a reputable therapist or psychologist in your area for an evaluation. Best of luck and health to you & yours.
I had same thing when going to work, I am retired now, it was all stress related. I worked a nurse, seen lots of people with same situation as I, I went to Chinese medicine and they gave me ginger pills, I was then able to buy them at good health food stores and cheaper too. Make sure pure ginger, no sugar, or make ginger tea.
