What happens when a benzodiazipine is taken with suboxone?

the warning is that it represses breathing and can cause death. Anyone prescribed suboxone should be listening to their doctor about any medicines they may be taking in conjunction with suboxone, there are some cases where the doctor will treat with both medicines.

pattishan61 is right. You can safely take both medications if prescribed by your doctor. It can be deadly if done otherwise. I have personally taken Suboxone with a Benzodiazepine with no problems at all. However the manufacture of Suboxone highly recommends that you pay close attention while taking both of these medications do to the possible side effects. I hope this helps. Good luck to you!
