What happens if a child chews a time released methylin er pill?

If you chew a timed-release pill, then the medication will enter your bloodstream faster than otherwise. That means that you could end up with more drug in your blood than is recommended, and it will wear off faster.

Hello wendyoro. I'd call poison control. Not certain what the childs age is but this type of drug should not be given to begin with to any child younger than age six.
