Promethazine (phenergan) is in a group of drugs called phenothiazines.-

Phenergan and Pregnancy Category C
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) uses a category system to classify the possible risks to a fetus when a specific medicine is taken during pregnancy. Pregnancy Category C is given to medicines that have not been studied in pregnant humans but that do appear to cause harm to the fetus in animal studies.

Take care.-

hi tlc,i am not saying this about you.but i want to give a warning to anyone on methadone.if you are on methadone and you take this drug it can and will interact and cause respiratory failure. A very good friend of mine died this way. in his system was a drug that was used for allergies,it showed up like it was an amphetimine in his urine test and is a deadly combo. free discount card
