what are the symptons for bronchutics
You may be beginning to develop a bacterial chest infection.
The symptoms of bronchitis include:
Cough that produces mucus; if it's yellow-green, you are more likely to have a bacterial infection
Fever -- usually low
Shortness of breath worsened by exertion or mild activity
See your doctor if you have these symptoms.
If there is congestion (phlegm/mucus) in your chest and you can not bring it up it needs to be thinned down and broken up so that it can be coughed up.
Cough medicines containing expectorants such as guaifenesin are good for this.
Inhalations and hot showers are also useful as is drinking lots of water or hot honey and lemon drinks. If the phlegm can not be bought up, it can accumulate and you are more prone to developing a bacterial chest infection which may require antibiotics.
For more information consult with your pharmacist or doctor.
