I just finished 3 months of chemo and radiation treatments the last of Feb. for lung cancer and when we did a cat scan a few weeks ago to see how the tumor was; they found a lymph note in my right lung and one by my collarbone on the right side of my leg. They did a biopsy and found out they were in the 4th stage non small cell carcinoma, then I found a lump in my right breast, did a mommogram yesterday along with an ultra sound, and they think it's breast cancer. Will do a biopsy on the breast Tuesday, to find out what kind and what stage it's in. The Doctor gave me a copy of my blood work, he didn't say any thing about it, but when I got home I had a look and found my mpv is real low, 4.8. I looked it up on google and it looks like it could meam leukemia. Does anyone out their know anything about these numbers? I want be able to talk to the Doctor until Tuesday!!! With my luck it's spread all over my body. Thank you in advance for any advice or help you can give me.
