I have scar tissue build up and some small tears in the knee will it help any of that or am I just avoiding the enevitable?
Supartz is only used in Osteoarthritis. So from your question I'm assuming you don't have osteoarthritis ... ask your doctor, or specialist. Sometimes they may know of a medicine/drug being used for other conditions apart from the ones stated.
I'm receiving supartz injections for chondromalacia - if the scar tissue build up is on the cartilage then it may be helpful. My physical therapist describes it as WD40 for the joints, to help them move more fluidly. If the tears are in the musculature, probably not going to help.
