I have a cold and am finding it difficult to find a cold medicine that wont interact with Celexa (antidepressant medication). I have a severly stuffy nose and am scared to take anything for it. Many of the cold remedies have a drug interaction with Celexa.
Talk with your pharmacist.
You can safely take nasal decongestant sprays containing phenylephrine. There are several brands on the market. These will give you almost instant relief but should only be used for short periods of time.
You should avoid any medicines containing the cough suppressant ingredient dextromethorphan and aspirin.
