I am a 36 year old male and have high blood pressure as well as type 2 diabetes... I have lost almost 60 lbs and SHOULD feel better, but I have been fatigued literally since I can remember, all the way down to Jr high school and such... I have taken adderol and lortabs but they are habit forming and I build a tolerance too fast. What can I do to get energy?
Im glad to hear your staying away from the habit forming drugs,i get a vitamin b shot every 2 weeks from my doc because of my energy levels being so low, maybe you can talk to your doc about getting a vitamin shot, since you have high blood pressure and diabetes you cant take theover the counter energy boosters so i would talk with your doc and see what they can do,im sure theres is something, hope this helps
There are a variety of things you can do to gain some much needed energy. First there are many vitamins and supplements to consider to increase energy. Consider looking into support groups in your area. You also might consider that you could be depressed which sucks at energy levels and you may even have a thyroid disorder which claims those particles of energy that I have.
Have you had a complete check up with your doctor? Have you talked to him or her about your energy levels?
For me just knowing that there were others out there like me suffering from the same problems made things more bearable. Then too it was discovering the answers to why I was so fatigued. Many of the followers on my thyroid yahoo group believe that fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome are just undiscovered thyroid problems. I found their knowledge helpful.
