sounds like you might have fibromyalgia.i was told i had rest leg,chronic fitgue ,ibs and many other things before i was told it was fibromyalgia .neurontin works on the nerves to calm them down so the won't cause pain .it is given to someone with diabetes to help stop the shocking pain that they so offten get.and fibromyalgia is pain caused by nerves !and it might ease your pain some !good luck and thanks for sharing !

The active ingredient in Neurontin is called gabapentin. Gabapentin affects chemicals and nerves in the body that are involved in the cause of seizures and some types of pain. It is used to treat types of seizures and to treat nerve pain caused by herpes virus or shingles.

It also has many off-label uses (non FDA approved uses) including:
Agitation in dementia; alcohol withdrawal; bipolar disorder; cocaine withdrawal; diabetic neuropathy; fibromyalgia; headaches; hiccups (singultus); hot flashes (cancer- and/or postmenopausal-related); hyperhidrosis; nausea (cancer-related); neuralgia/neuropathy/chronic pain; prevention of migraine; pruritus (brachioradial/cholestatic/uremic); rectal administration; restless leg syndrome; tremors in multiple sclerosis.
