what should I do when I identify these signs?when should I revisit the physician?
Do you check your blood sugar on a regular basis? You should notice a decrease in your blood sugar readings. If you do not take your blood sugar readings (which any diabetic taking new meds should be doing) you will not notice a difference until your Dr draws a Hemoglobin A1C test. It will go down if the meds are doing what they should. A Hemoglobin A1C gives the Dr an idea of how well your blood sugar is under control. When did the physician tell you to come back? I would think he would want to retest in a month or so.
