In such a situation it is recommended that you talk with your doc./pharmacist as they would be the best people to advice as they would know your medical history, hope this helps?

My friend was pregnant recently and is asthmatic and has coughs regularly, and she was still allowed to use her ventolin inhaler. She also sucked lozenges (ones suitable for in pregnancy), but unfortunately couldn't find any cough suppressant liquids suitable for her condition. As the last comment suggests, have you asked your Dr?

ventolin wont harm your baby. but some cough meds can. just tell your pharmacy your pregnant with a bad cough, and they will tell you which cough meds are safe to use during pregnancy
