What are some effective medications used for migraines that are not in the Triptan family?

I take Topamax (topiramate) it is very effective for migraine prevention and migraine treatment it also treats epilepsy, but as I mentioned earlier its other use is for migraines.

Elavil helped me by preventing alot of mine, went from having 6 to 8 a month down to 1 per month. It is a tri cyclic antidepressant and is also known as amitriptyline, I took just 25 mgs per night and it is cheap and it worked.
