Is wellbutrin considered in the ssri family?

No it is in a class all its own. It isn't related to any other anti depressant.

Hello EIGHTCATS. Wellbutrin/Bubropion is an NDRI drug or Norepinephrine Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor. It works differently on the part of the brain than a SSRI SNRI, Tricyclic does.
