This med doesn't seem to do anything for me. I've been on it for 2 weeks. I just looked at the bottle and see that the med is from Sun Pharma in India. I read from the posts that the generic WB may not be as good as the brand. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten their generic from Sun Pharma and had it work for them?
wannab; Yes long time ago and had no problems. There was with many companies at one time and it was something like expiration date. no effect on the drug. I don't even pay attention to the brands anymore They all no matter where they come from have the same regulations to be used in the USA the only difference between the brand and generic is the binders inactive ingredients in the pill the active medication is the same as the brand name. And these companies making the generic a lot of times are all in the same building and just put into the company bottle that is buying it with their markings.A HUGE AMOUNT OF OUR GENERICS AND BRAND NAME ARE MADE IN THESE OTHER COUNTRIES.sun labs is a good generic company and make lots of other things.
Now unless I am reading your post wrong it sounds like you just started the Bupropion Sr. It can take upto 6 weeks to have it reach the blood level that you need to feel any different. But the first 2 weeks are the hardest for many and you have already gotten through that without much problems like side effect Just very Importaint that you take this about the same time that each dose is due. Most people start to feel somewhat better or less symptoms at 4 weeks as the drug is building up in you and should continue to get better up to 6 or 8 weeks when your blood level reaches its peak.I hope this clears up any worries you have there are so many rumors about generic drugs. And yes once in a while a bad lot # MAKES IT through but that is the same as the brand name. And there are always going to be a few people that swear generics are no good I could show many that the generic company is also making the brand name drug. and to be sold in the USA by the source that it should be from your doctor and a regular Pharmacy here it is a good generic. Now people that have gone through other means like on line to a strange company and we don't even know if it is a pharmacy that is shipping it to you those are the medications that the fda is always after because many times it is not even the right drug. very scary stuff.
if you have any questions that i did not clear up let me know. Hope you get to feeling better very soon. Chuck1957
WANNA OR BETTER YET WELLBE; I forgot one important thing Both brand name medications and there generic are allowed the same amount of difference from batch to batch of the active drug which is 3 to 4 % IF CARS WERE ONLY SO GOOD. Have a great day my friend. give it sometime if this does not do it by the time I said then it is not the medication for you Chuck1957
Thanks Chuck. My S/Es are bad headaches, foot tingling & dry mouth. I'm getting more depressed every day. I read the reviews that people start having energy from this med. It's after 2 pm & I'm still not dressed. I hope I'm not one of the few that don't respond to ADs. My 1 mg Klonopin at nite for sleep is not working that well after a yr but I will not want to up that. I appreciate that you got back to me. I try not to give up but when I see how much I aged in the past 2 yrs I don't want to go out. I know that I have to be on the Klonopin while on WB or I could have a seizure. It's horrible to have doom & gloom. My GP suggested Paxil but that seems to have a lot of S/Es. Also, I used to be able to write a paragraph without rambling like this.
I've been on it for three months, my doctor started me out at ten mgs an has now taken me up to thirty an no it's not helping me, he said he will just keep upping My dose until it does help, if it doesn't start helping me in the next few months, I'm going to get off of it, it's not helping my anxiety anyways.
