Is there a certain weight you have to be for a doctor to put you on phentermine?

Yes. Doctors go by your BMI which is Body Mass Index. If it is about 25 I believe then you would qualify for medical treatment. I am sorry I don't have the formula handy but it is easily obtainable online. good Luck!
