I weigh 183lbs I'm 5'8. My question is i want to lose 15 pounds by mid November, I exercise 3 times a week for 30 mins I walk only, due to other medical problems. I have also taken all fatty foods and refined sugar out of my diet. Is this to much on my body or to little? I also wanted to no when is the best time to weigh myself?
Thanks for the help,
Walking perhaps is one of the best exercise to loose weight, it would be super if you could increase the frequency of walking at least 5 days a week & for about 45 minutes, but since you have medical problems please do consult a doc before you do it, i lost around 17 pounds in about 4 months by walking 6 days a week for 45 minutes & diet control. Take care & be well!
Cut back on the quantity of food you eat. I swear by it. Only eat what you can fit in the palm of your hand (with meet any way) still I don’t even eat that. Lots of veggies.
I too have been walking for 30 to 35 minutes for about 2 months, the first month I only lost 5 lbs, but the second month I have lost about 8 1/2. I think once you start losing and regularly walking, the body will naturally up its metablolism. I have only within last week begun to increase it to 43 minutes and it seems to have made a difference for me. Even though I only lost 5 in the beginning, my inches shrunk. Good Luck and hang in there, it will happen. Dr.s usually say to weigh first thing in the morning. I diet 6 days out of the week and eat normal 1 day, this way the body doesn't start trying to conserve all energy, that 7th days when the body gets extra fuel for just a day and it keeps the body burning fat and calories.
My friend is over weight and currently taking adipex. A once a day before breakfast medication. This medication is for people who cant lose weight with just diet and exercise alone. She absolutely loves it. However it is very potent. With proper diet and exercise (while taking the adipex) you will definately accomplish your losing that weight. Research it. Hope this helps
