Ive been on metformin 500 mg extended release for a couple of weeks now because i am prediabetic with high fasting sugar levels and I have PCOS. Im actuslly only 55 kg and want to lose only a couple of kg to get rid of that belly fat and fat around my waist. Im insulin resistant.

The metformin hasnt helped me drop a single kg despite all the exercise I do. I run 30 min a day 4-5 times a week with light weight training. Im trying to eat as healthy as I can but im ALWAYS HUNGRY.

can someone suggest what I can do? Will increasing metformin dose help me?
