I am on this pill and am very good about taking it. However, recently a condom broke during sexual intervourse and semen entered my vagina. I took the plan b pill just to be safe but I've been informed that it is possible for not only microgestin fe but also the plan b pill to become less effective if you are overweight. Is this accurate?
Plan B may not work if you have a BMI greater than 26. The emergency contraceptive pill you need, is EllaOne.
Your periods may not happen or could be irregular for several months, with all of the artificial hormone now in your body (the two pills combined). You may also get hormonal symptoms, such as those you get with a period or pregnancy.
If you put the title of your regular birth control pill into the search box on this website, it will give you any info on weight limits, if applicable.
