... for four days, I got to feeling better, I went home and started my normal activities again. One afternoon I was working outside and the pain started back again, in the same spot with a low grade fever, I went back to the doctor after a few more days of no change and he put me back on more antibiotics with no change now after a week and a half, has anyone else had this problem?
Some people will have more than one attack of diverticulitis.
Did your doctor suggest you add more fiber to your diet and avoid certain foods. Eating more fiber can help prevent future attacks.
Once these pouches have formed, you will have them for life.
If you make a few simple changes in your lifestyle, you may not have diverticulitis again.
Hello Daniel. Don't forget the acidophilus supplements and yogurt. Lol. Hope this gets better soon. The C. diff is hospital related though can be anywhere... I just spent 4 days there and came home with the symptoms. Cocktail of 4 IV antibiotics as well. We are waiting until this last one is done and then they will test. I feel for you. Hope this clears up soon for you. Karen
