These last only for a very short while. Then things get better. Is this because I haven't reached the full effects of the drug or should I ask the doctor to increase the dose to 100mg? I see my doctor in a month.
Six to eight weeks allows time to reach the therapeutic blood levels of the drug. If you can tolerate the minor bouts of depression a little longer maybe give it until you next see your doctor? You may be feeling great by then but if you're still having setbacks you can easily increase your dose to 100mg which is a pretty standard maintenance dose.
Best regards! Sounds like you're doing well so far. Wildcat
Yes; please follow WildCat, advice with Zoloft it is very Important you take it about the same time each day also give it a good 8 weeks to reach the right blood level. If any problems at that point check with the doctor it could be a need for a dose change.
