... about 20 lbs. As I am nearing the end I have started binge eating even more. Has anyone experienced this and what can I take to control it? It will be about another 2 months til I am off Cymbalta completely. I tapered very slowly, am on month 4 I added 37.5 Zoloft as I heard Zoloft works for binge eating but it is doing nothing. Can anyone offer me some help? Thanks
Eve; How long have you been on the Zoloft now? It could be for many reasons but as long as you are aware of it. The best is to try and control this type of behavior such as not having things around that are going to bring up your calorie intake each day and try things like drinking a full glass of water with your medication. And of and on during the day to give you more of a full feeling you can't gain weight if you're not eating lots of the wrong things. And try to just change a few other habits get used to walking around the block or just up and down the block when you get the urge of wanting to hit the fridge and a small amount of exercise. Work at eating more often but less amounts seems to help too. Also, should get better as your body adjust to the medications. Best of luck.
