Unfortunately Apixaban is not approved for any use in the US. As of last month the FDA has stated they will make a decision on Apixaban by March 17, 2013. It is approved in the EU.
Sorry, but I can't give you any feedback on Xarelto. I'm sure you are aware that Xarelto was demonstrated non-inferior to warfarin for the primary composite endpoint of time to first occurrence of stroke (any type) or non-CNS systemic embolism, but superiority to warfarin was not demonstrated. This appears to be giving the doctors pause on prescribing it for this indication and therefore there has not been a lot of feedback in our area.
