This is my first post, and I've read through so many stories here, which have been very helpful. I am currently on .5 mg clonzapam which I take ever night. I was prescribed 1 mg per day, 5 years ago, after my first and only child was born. I had very bad depression after the baby, and had suffered a really hard pregnancy. Add into that an unsupportive husband and a bad living situation, ( living in downstairs addition of husband's crazy parents
Wanting off clonazepam?
Clonazepam is quite habit forming even though you have been more responsible using it than most. I would recommend transferring to Diazepam; take that regularly for a month or so and you can quite rapidly stop Diazepam with just some slightly unsettled sleep for a couple of weeks. The thing is: do you really want to quit in your current situation?
