Recently started trying Belsomra, and my Dr. was very clear about needing 7 hours available. What happens if I wake up in 5.5, (well, it's already happened), am I obligated to try to go back to sleep until I hit 7?
Hi, if when you wake you still feel sleepy, try to stay in bed for a while to see if you can get some more sleep. If you feel wide awake, get up but do something relaxing/non stimulating for a while, such as take a bath, or read a book. Don't immediately get in your car or start working because the effects of the medication will still be there. It is important to get in to a good bedtime routine, go to bed at the same time each night for example
