... sooner? I am 68. Have had Hep C 17 years. Took the interferon treatment for a while but could not complete. Hep C not active. Now it is active. The regular gastroenterologist cannot see me for 3 months and I feel why wait for treatment? I have to research it also because I do not have the huge co-pay I believe I will have. I have Medicare part D.
I would go as soon as you can. I would also suggest getting in touch with the support group at Gilead .. They can maybe help you with more information about Harvoni and support. I recently finished 12 weeks of Harvoni and my blood work all three months were undective of hep c.. I have to wait three months and repeat blood work . At that point I will know for sure that I am hep c free ... It is a blessing that there is a cure out there ... Good Luck and God Bless
