I was prescribed 80mg of Adderall a day and it wants working. I started taking 100mg to 120mg a day and just got what i needed from it a little. I have ADHD but also take it cause i work up to 15 hrs a day and have a young child at home. So i need the energy and to be awake without much sleep. But my doc switched me to Vyvanse 30mg since the Adderall wasn't working unless i was taking an extreme dose. I feel like that mg is gonna me to small. Will it be to small or will it do what i need it to do and why? Also i am 6 foot 7 and 400lbs. Will that affect it?
Bigcountry 1313; There really is not a good answer for this. But first you can't think of these in mg's they are 2 different drugs, And some people do much better on one than the other it just depends on you and your system. And more Important is to take just what the doctor has prescribed for you. But you are going to have to be much more careful on how many you take.If you continue to take more to be able to work longer hours, You well end up in getting stuck on any of these or they may even quit working for you. Best if you talk to the doctor about that part and see if he or she is okay with taking another. Good luck to you and hope this one is working as well and if you have problems talk to the doctor there are several others in this class also. Chuck1957
