My son is 16 years old he has been on Ritalin for years he is up to taking 60 milligrams of Ritalin a day. What is the difference in medication? What is the probability that this medication might help him better than the Ritalin?
This question has also been asked and answered here: Ritalin vs Vyvanse - What's the difference between them?
To begin ritalin has been on the market for years. Vyvance is fairly new. Vyvance is a xtended release. with one amphetamine salt. Ritalin also has an xtended form. (By the way is ur son on the xtended or the other type of ritalin)
Ritalin is a mix of 2 different amphetamine salts. In my opinion vyvance is the better of the two.
