Have heard that getting a Vitamix (blender) or Blendtec and making a puree to drink instead of eating solid food is the way to handle this Votrient Chemo treatment. Do you concur those of you who have been on 800 mg longer then 6 months?
Husband with renal cancer in lungs, stomach and liver is in dialysis and only able to eat Nepro, milkshakes and Novasource... renal drinks suggested by the Dilaysis center. Before the Votrient caused such bad side effects he was able to eat soup, to which I added chopped up meat and soft scrambled eggs with cheese. The taste buds stop working according to the home nurse. We have a couple of Bella Rocket Blenders that are like the Nutri Bullet but only $20 at Amazon, Walmart etc... just Google them.. they work fine and are great for single serving drinks. Husband has been on Votrient for not even 2 months and I am wondering how long it takes to really work..
