... many years. I have had no problem with either, but wanted to know if I can wear the Vivelle 0.1 patch on my upper buttox (hip area) where I have been wearing the Estraderm Patch for all those previous years
I think you can but please confirm with your doctor.
These are the areas that are recommended by the manufacturer. I assume lower back would be the same as upper buttocks.
Apply the skin patch to clean, dry skin on your stomach, lower back, or buttocks. Choose a different spot within these skin areas each time you apply a new patch. Avoid skin that is oily, irritated, or damaged.
Hi Shirley, & welcome to the site. I use the Vilvelle Dot & put in on the bikini line. Since I have a big scar up the middle that leaves me 4 spots to wear it. I just rotae it every time & have no problems at all. I would think it wouldn't matter where as long as it stays on ok. The directions say to change it twice a week also, but it makes my breasts very tender so I asked my doc about just one a week or ten days & he said whatever I felt was the best for me. Guess he thinks we women know how we feel! Good luck to you...
