Vitamins - What would be the maximum vitamin dose of iron for a normal post-menopausal female?

My dr told me none is needed but I take 18mg per day since I cycle to start periods, I guess if you don't have a period , & aren't losing blood ,,don't think none is required , but ask your dr .

The recommended dose of iron for mineral supplementation in adults is 325 mg of ferrous sulphate once a day. This is equivalent to 65mg of elemental iron .
The recommended daily allowance (RDA) of elemental iron is 10 mg for postmenopausal women.
