Hi again Tonka! Now this is a very tricky question, and a good one!! What first popped in my head was making meals that are low in fat, lots of veggies and salads, eating small portions several times a day. Much like how little kids eat. I would think half a whole grain sandwich with lean turkey, tomato, lettuce, and a white cheddar rice cake would make a "meal." Or even 1/2 cup of soup with part of a french loaf with low fat honey-butter would also make a small tasty "meal". I noticed with some meds that can upset the stomach, even eating a few crackers with a little swiss and ham helps. But I'll drink at least 2 large glasses of water too. So there's small but easy, low fat "meals" that won't make us gain fifty pounds. Wouldn't you think drinking lots of water would suffice though? I would think as long as the med isn't sitting in an empty stomach, that would be ok. As far as the 400 calorie minimum, the half a sandwich and rice cakes would be that much. If not, you can slather it up with a bunch of mayo and drink a big glass of milk. Oh, I see now. That IS a problem, isn't it? Hmmm, I'll have to think some more about this one. Told you it was a good question! lol. That is a dilemma! If I think of something, I'll be back.
