Vitamin D3 - I'm taking 3000 iu a day. I'm 61 & very active, biking,swimming. Is that level safe?

It is safe, but unless you have osteoporsis, you really shouldn't need that amount. Ten minutes of sunshine will give you all the Vit. D you need. If you have osteoarthritis or osteoporosis you should be supplementing as you are, but also taking calcuium citrate with magnesium which also has vit. D3. Hope this helps answer your question...

Thank you. In fact, I do have osteoarthritis and take 400mg of magnesium.
