I would like to know
If someone have HIV and hep b this is good Medicane to take for both ?
Aria; Yes this is what they use it for.paste from drug.com (((For the treatment of HIV-1 or chronic hepatitis B: The dose is one 300 mg Viread tablet once daily taken orally, without regard to food.))) which of course they watch both well and sometimes it says they add other things if the Hep B is not responding as well as it should. Morning Aria1982; YES hep B and Hiv now days can be treated to a point that you can live a long life and of course also doing healthy things eating, exercise etc. It's come a long ways from the time HIV first started now it is living with hep B and Hiv NOT DIEING OF. KEEP thinking positive with luck you won,t have HIV but it is not the end if you do. Make sure you go to a good infectious disease doctor. Don't just have a regular doctor manage your health needs they see things alot faster than a family doctor And stay positive about all of this the mind is very powerful be glad it is now and now 5 or 10 or more years ago when we were just learning about all of this.
Have a great day and please feel free to come back and ask any questions about medication or whatever you need And for your sake get all your medications from one pharmacy so you can get the benefit of one pharmacist or the staff watching out for drug Interactions for you and you can always call them when you have a question about a medicine your not sure you should take. The pharmacist knows much more about the drugs than most doctors.so use it as your benefit before taking even over the counter meds or vitamins check with them if its okay with Hep B you have to keep that liver and stuff in good shape. enjoy the day Chuck1957
