When I was working and had a more than adequate income, the vimpat cost $40.00\3 months. Now that I am retired and on a less than adequate fixed income, I have paid as much as $900.00\3 months. Please tell me how that is fair. Or, better still, please tell me how I can get vimpat for $100.00 for 3 months. That would be most appreciated.

Nancy,
I wish I could provide you a simple solution to this medication cost. With Vimpat not having a generic version the cost is going to naturally be high. With my insurance I pay $60 for 3mos supply. If I didn't have insurance I wouldn't be able to afford it at all. If
there was a generic version the cost would $15.
Sorry I can't offer anything better.

Thank you for your reply. I do have insurance. but as many times as I try to find one that will give me a better price I come up negative. Guess I will have to wait for the generic. Last I heard it will be 2020.
Nancy,
You may want to contact Roche the mfg. to see if they provide any consumer purchase assistance. I'm unsure if they do. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
