... severe issues and depression? I have been on Cymbalta but complained to doctor about sexual side effects. I have a history of clinical depression only, not OCD etc.
Hello suznfine. Viibryd is perscribed for major depression or clinical depression. It is also perscribed off label, meaning other than clinical depression/major depression or a reaon other than it was orginally manufactured for such as anxiety disorder, OCD, and panic disorder. Yes it is a good option. People generally do well on the drug. Regards, pledge
Hi suznfine ~
You didn't mention what dose of cymbalta you were taking at this point. It is quite a good mood stabilizer and one I would highly recommend. I was suffering from RMD w/SI and taking 120mg for quite a long time. I did really well at 120mg, for instance, but without knowing you or your dose... perhaps you could get the same benefit now on a lower dose without the unwanted side effects??? By the way, I didn't have those side effects on the lower doses. Actually, I don't remember having those side effects at all...
I no longer take the medication and have just about resolved most of the issues I was having... through a divorce!!! Yeah, I am much happier now and remarried...
Is your dose at least 30??? or is it more like 60 or higher??? Talk with your doctor about adjusting your dose, okay? I went through quite a lot of adjustments before hitting the clinical dose and then some.
All the best and hope this has helped you...
Blessings and peace to you in your world.
