I used the starter pack, & it took the full month to get used to it. After that, if you miss more than 1 dose then go back to full 40mg dose, it can hit you like a ton of bricks! I've had no problems with ANY drug before, or since, but THIS one can be tough! It takes time to get used to it, but as long as you stay on it regularly your body should get accustomed to it.
bmiller; Just like was already on. Most the time it is the first 2 weeks that can be the worst if lucky it may ease up a bit sooner but it is very important that he take this at about the same time each day don't miss any days. But as you work your way up to the 6 to 8 weeks where your at the full blood level most after the first 2 weeks notice most side effects go away then within the next 2 weeks you start to feel so benefits of taking the medication and just continue until he is at least to the 6 to 8 weeks that if the full blood level. Now, remember if anything that is just too much for your husband checks back with the doctor sometimes he or she can give him something to make it a bit easier. Best of luck to you and your husband. you well get through this. Chuck1957
