My psych has me taking lexapro, viibryd, and buspar together. This seems like a lot of meds to me. When I look them up it seems like they are all about the same. Is anyone else taking these meds together? Sometimes I think I need to get a second opinion.
wow! I would talk with a licensed pharmacist about that and see what concerns or advice they might have. It may work great for you or it may have some weird side effect that will snag you after a few days.
Your psych doc may have added Viibryd to boost the Lexapro if it was not working for you. You can ask your psych doc why the Viibryd was added. It is also an antidepressant. The Buspar is usually prescribed for anxiety issues. It is non-addictive and sometimes used as a alternative to benzodiazepines. It is a funny med as it works for some but not for others. It can take 2-4 weeks to build up in your system.
Getting a second opinion may be a good idea.

I'm switching from Zoloft to Viibryd & having more anxiety. Is this a normal part of switching SSRI?
