I'm just finishing week 3 and am curious if people have experienced positive effects while taking Viibryd. Thanks.
Viibryd saved my life (before almost taking it). The transition on was really bad. The doc did not warn me and I almost did not make it, but since then, WOW.
I suffer from major depression; staying alive has been a major task in the last year. Now it is easy. Viibryd works for me. Give it time, at least 3-4 weeks before you pass judgement.
I can honestly say that if there was any difference in taking Viibryd, I really could tell it. I didn't have major depression. My doctor put me on it to help with moodiness. I still have the problem of moodiness though. I quit taking it cold turkey a little over a week ago, and I can definitely see the bad side effects of getting OFF of it. The itchy skin, the excessive tiredness, the irritability, major depressed feelings and even suicide thoughts. Hopefully these bad withdrawl symptoms will go away soon. Good thing about not taking it is that the restless leg syndrome feelings are pretty much gone. Don't have the pain in my hips and legs that I usually do when taking Viibryd. I am hoping to lose the 40 lbs I gained while taking it too!! That is the main reason I want off of it... I GAINED SO MUCH WEIGHT!
