I am a type 2 diabetic with uncontrolled sugar levels. Tried lots of medications nothing working. I have read that it decreases appetite however I really don't have much of appetite as it is and yes with that being said I am still over weight. my main issue is the lack of exercise. I was recently prescribed Victoza and very scared to take this medication due to all the side effects. With the current health issue terrified to add more problems from medication. From everything I have read nausea, weakness and vomiting. I just don't know if this medication is the right thing for me. If anyone can offer any input would greatly appreciated.
I would be much more terrified that the constantly high blood sugar is destroying my organs. If doctors made it clear to diabetics how bad having a high blood sugar is, people would do more to control it. You don't even know if you'll have those side effects. If I couldn't control my blood sugar I would take anything to get it down. Do you drink allot of water? Do you watch what you eat? Are you unable to walk? I understand it if you can't, For me to walk my dogs 2 blocks means terrible back pain.
