How long does it take for my BS numbers to start going down? While I was taking the initial 0.6mg dose my sugars were in the mid to low 200's. Three hour after I took my first 1.2mg dose my reading was 265.
I also have started using Victoza, my fasting am reading were always in the low 200's, to 250's; when injecting in the am. So I changed my injection time so the victoza could have more effect on my b/s; to 4pm instead of 900am. My b/s dropped within a couple days, when I took my fasting b/s, in the mornings, using the 1.2mg dose. My readings are 150's-160 range & I expect them to get lower. I hope this helps you, possibly changing injection time might help you get lower fasting b/s?
