My doctor prescribed tramadol for headache and Vicodin for severe headache pain. If I take tramadol one day and vicodin the next, will there be a drug interaction?
Have you tried the tramadol for headache. Its been my experience that it doesn't work well as an as needed med. They're not going to interact a day apart.
I take low doses of both Tramadol (25-50 mg/day) and Tylenol/Codeine #3 (one pill) for minor arthritic pain, the Tramadol in the morning and the codeine in the late afternoon. They are both quite helpful, and seem to interact well, but I am not dealing with severe pain.
