- percocet, vicodin
I have had issues with vicodin and percocet for years. I was told the best way to get clean was methedone which i now recieve daily at a clinic. I now know i made a huge mistake and want to at least get back to pills so i can get to the point i was at and should have stopped much easier with. I have access to 80-90 7.50 vicodin. will this work?? thank you for any help.

Thank you all. I know this is backwards. I was told in a short time I won’t crave a pill life will be great. In reality I do not feel great. I have overall felt lousy and like I made a huge mistake. Even when I asked my councilor if I made the right choice he said that now that he knows my story hit would have been much easier to get of the pills. I know of all the other options but suboxone is extremely pricy and right now I pay 15.00 per day because my insurance will not. I do think it’s the way to go for me but is 80 going to get me over the methadone?
Thank you all again. I’m just a mess and like all of you want my life back.
Have you considered Suboxone? That might be the better alternative to methadone. Many people have had success with it.
I mean no offense when I say this, but going back on opiates to kick methadone seems sort of back asswards, doesn't it? Not judging you, just saying it seems like a step backward.
Please google Suboxone or Subutex for more info.
Best wishes to you,
I argree with everyone. I was addicted to Vicodin for 3 years. then went to an addiction sp who put me on Sub. Fast forward to today and I'm now addicted to Norcos. Why? Sub didn't solve my addiction problem.
I agree with sweetlemom and I want the very best for you I know it's something that is hard but sounds like a better alternative than moving backwards, take it slow but keep on keeping on I wish you the very best
im glad I ran past this post, I have been on dbl percs for 3 yrs now went from a dr who gave me 30 to one that gave me 60 now to one that gave me 240 a month due to fibromyalgia and rhuematoid arthritis. although I didnt need daily i was told to take around the clock and when that no longer was curing pain she moved me to 100mg morphines and then 40 oxycontins i discontinued both and went back to percocets but found i was doing 16-20 daily to relieve pain. and then moved to smoking heroine for pain I have stopped H as of 2 days ago and am using percocet and methadone bought on streets and I have been honest with my care provider. she says I will always need narcotics for pain but offered me a tens unit i dont wanna do the tens unit. can she make me? I have no insurance like most of americans and feel that I have made a conciouse choice to deal with my addiction head on I have made appt at wellness center but it will be another month before I can get in there can she cut me off of medication? any input will help thank you.
