... (same for the 10-500) and relapsed today! They're for my chronic low back pain and doctor prescribed, of course. My month supply is 90. Sounds like a lot, but when I used 2 work, I took one 4x a day (every 4-5 hrs). I do not work now and decided having the severe muscle jerks/twitches aren't worth losing sleep over! I'm ashamed of myself and wonder if tapering can really be done! I've taken these since April 2005, starting on the 5 mgs. How do people taper off and not relapse? (I tapered on my own, doc not knowing). Any feedback greatly appreciated!! Thx!
Vicodin - I'm a new member and tapered from Lortab 10-500 mg (yesterday-only!!) to 7.5 mg, 3x a day?

I neglected to mention it almost felt like I was going to have a seizure last night!! I thought I was stronger than this.
You should probably look into buprenorphine (subutex, suboxone). After 5 years you likely won't be able to ween done at least not when you're in control of the pills. Ask for a 6 week detox with suboxone that way you have a chance of totally getting off opiates... Good luck... Dave
